Easy to assemble, love the stability and performance of the bike. However the instructions for setting up and customizing the programs were unclear. Tried using the quick start, customizing and using preset programs as per the manual. Could not get any of them to work until the last section of the manual--general setup. I was frustrated and went through the steps. Even though I didn't change any of the settings the quick start worked after that. Still cannot get the customized or preset programs to work even though I follow the instructions step by step. My son, a computer geek, couldn't get them to work either. Thus, even though I generally love the bike I can only use the quick start program.

I love this bike. It is quiet, smooth and very comfortable. It is easy to get on and off. I use it as an adjunct to physical therapy sessions. It is attractive enough to be in the living room where I can watch TV or read from the reading rack while I am working out. Because my back is fused, I have difficulty adjusting the seat height since I have to bend down to accomplish that. In time I will get better at adjusting it and just leave it in the right place so this problem will be solved. I appreciate such a quality bike at such a reasonable price. It does everything I need it to do. I highly recommend this purchase and investigated thoroughly before making my decision. I am confident this is the best bike for the price.

I was hesitant to buy this without trying it out first, but it had such good reviews I thought I'd give it a try. I love it. It seems to be a good workout, I am drenched with sweat at the end of my 30 minute workout and it is so easy on your joints. The seat is comfortable, though I wish it was a bit more cushy. It really is whisper quiet, no need to adjust the TV volume up at all. The ONLY reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is that the directions for how to use the programs are not very clear and I was extremely frustrated with it until my daughter figured them out. Using the programs is very simple, it's just not explained well. I would definitely recommend this bike especially if running and the treadmill are too much for your joints.

I got this bike because I had used a recument bike for rehab after a knee replacement. I bought a treadmill to keep on exercising, but that still puts your weight on your joints. This kind of exercise bike is absolutely the best kind of exercise for me. Even nicer working than the very expensive ones I've used. I ride a street bike daily and use the bike to supplement my other exercises and when the weather is bad (Wind or rain). My wife has a bad knee and is reluctant to exercise on a regujlar basis however, she uses the bike and loves it. We compared the bike to a more expensive one and found the quality of the 220 to be much better.

It took just over an hour to assemble. Everything needed was included. (no need to find right tools !) Instructions were clear, except for a few parts where one had to look at picture or guess intent. (e.g. wheels in or out on base )

Having used a few times the only downside compared with our gym and physio's 'expensive' models was the adjustment. You really need to get off the bike to unscrew before pulling lever to move seat. It's very stable (locked in position) but, not convenient.

I managed to put the bike together without any frustration (or cursing!), which came as quite a surprise. The instructions for the console aren't the best, but it's fairly easy to figure out once you get the hang of it. The bike is quiet and comfortable. I wouldn't put too much stock in the heart rate monitor, however. Thusfar, it's been fairly inaccurate. However, for the price and ease of use and assembly, I would definitely recommend this bike.

We bought this bike for my wife to re-hab a knee surgery (ACL repair) but I find that I now can ride when the weather is not conducive to riding outside. I run in different races from 5k runs to triathlons so I workout on a regular bases and this bike is now one of my tools. The comfort and ease of it's use keeps my wife on track with her re-hab so she'll be back doing her outside sports soon. Would recommend the bike to anyone.

I have been using the bike for 2 weeks now and am really happy with my purchase. I think the price was great, it's easy to use and makes no noise. It is stable on either a wood floor or carpet. I've been using it for daily exercise...great for working out indoors in the winter. My husband put it together in a little over an hour and the only problem he had was getting one of the pedals on because the threading where it screws on was not cut right. I know this is done by machine, but it would have been a huge hassel to try and return the bike just for that. He was finally able to get it after about 10 minutes.

We have just put the Bike together yesterday. My husband said that the assembly was very easy and quick. I rode it last night for 20 minutes and so far so good. I did have some difficulty with the settings, even after I read the directions, still working on it. I hope that this bike will last a good long time. The ride was comfortable and smooth. I've only had it set up for 5 days. So far it seems fine. I'm not sure the calorie counter is accurate but maybe it takes a lot more biking at 15 mph to burn off calories than I expected. It seems I work VERY hard to burn 100 calories.

Overall, a good buy for the price. I researched many different bikes, including uprights, to find an alternative to cycling when winter rolls around. This one stood out for a fair balance on quality and value. I was not disappointed with the product. Strong frame, steady ride, comfortable fit for anyone. I now can conclude that recumbent was the way to go for comfort. It allows for longer sessions without getting squirmy. The seat is comfortable enough. Nothing to get excited about.

I would only give a caution out for a few things. The adjustment knob was poorly designed. I would have designed it with a slide clamp instead of a screw-in knob. It is too hard to adjust quickly and can come loose during exercise. If you will not be adjusting it often, you won't mind the defect. Also, if I wanted to be picky, the display is simple and generic compared to the real expensive interactive models. The display does allow you to create your own program but it is rather difficult to figure out how to do it. The instructions are brief and actually rather useless...but overall you still get more than what you pay for.

Overall, it does what it is designed to do. I would recommend this bike for anyone who intends to use it for aerobic exercise and who sometimes gets fidgety. Put a TV in front of the quiet cycle and before you know it an hour has gone by. Just get help carrying the box to where it will go. It is heavy!

I got the bike to help with recovery after a kidney transplant. I used it for a couple of weeks before my surgery and really liked it. The seat could be a little more comfortable, but it is not bad. I won't be able to use it for a few more weeks, but so far it is exactly what I need. I would recommend this bike.

Love the quiet operation. Don't have to turn up the volume on the TV while exercising. One thing I don't like is the adjusting knob needs to be tightened down all the way to avoid noises from a loose seat. Otherwise a perfect bike for us.

Daily resistance training for person with bad back who walks on concrete every day. Nice program that increases resistance at several different levels. Wish we didn't need an electricity source to run it, though.

Definitely pleased with the order [...] My nephew happened to be over and is very competent when it comes to assembling things. It still took him and 1 1/2 hours and he had no trouble putting it together. He was very impressed with the stability and quiet operation. Didn't realize that Schwinn in owned by Nautilus. Price was better than the lower end models on sale before Christmas. Setup was not difficult, it took me about two hours on Christmas morning, but I was taking my time. I am still trying to figure out how to use the program workouts, but the quick start is easy to use. It is very quiet, don't even have to turn up the TV. It is also much more comfortable to use than a conventional exercise bike. I bought the Schwinn 220 for my mom because she needs a step through type bike with a comfortable seat. Also, simple controls. This model has it. I have also used it. This is a great piece of equipment. Solidly built, easy to use. It is a little hard to adjust the seat (only that you have to unscrew the pin all the way to move it). However, this makes the seat very stable when tight. Great bike.

The bike is great for my daily workout when weather prohibits riding outside. Assembly takes under an hour and is easy to do, even with scant directions. However, there needs to be more thorough instructions for programming personal settings. It took some time to figure this out through trial and error. Adjusting for different seat settings takes effort because it is a 'screw out/screw in' process. But once set, the bike is comfortable, quiet, and solid.

Very easy assembly (goes quickly with 2 people). Would like to see volume control since every button push beeps loudly. Setting up user not very easy to do. But overall, very good performance and solid design.

Good basic bike for my needs. The bike is well built and stable during exercise. It doesn't have all the bells and whistles of the more expensive bikes, but it's good for a basic cardio workout, which is what I wanted. It is smooth and quiet and easy to adjust and I'm very happy with the bike.

The bicycle seems to be working just fine. It fits nicely in the allotted space in my basement and was very easy to assemble -- even with the "help" of my young son. My only complaint so far is that the instruction manual leaves a lot to be desired in terms of clarity and detail in explaining the functions of the bicycle. Further, the functions on the control pad are not intuitive. I'm sure I'll figure it all out eventually, and in the meantime, I'm satisfied with the purchase.

I have spinal synosis and distance walking is difficult. I have used recumbent bikes at the rec center and decided to purchase one myself. I am very pleased with this product. I only wish it had a holder for a water bottle.

This bike does not make a sound. We set it up in our entertainment room, and never had to adjust the tv volume while using it. It is comfortable, and gives a nice work out. The resistance can make for a heart pumping good work out. The heart rate monitor is a plus. Set up was a breeze.
I still need to spend some time with the computer console, it has some more complicated programs. I am also a bit unsure of the this wires connecting the electronics. They are very thin and look like they may easily brake if caught on anything.
At barely 5 feet tall I fit well on the bike.
