I had foot surgery earlier this year. My doctor recommended an exercise bike as a way to get some exercise without hurting my foot. I have had this bike for a little over a week now. I have used it almost everyday. I have a bad knee and this bike does not bother it in anyway. I love that it is so quiet and I can watch t.v. while using it. I did put it as uncomfortable, but only because the seat starts to hurt a little bit after a while-I use it for an hour. So adjusting yourself here and there tends to help me with that. Adjusting the seat also seems to be a little difficult, so I would suggest two people do it if more than one person is using the bike. Otherwise just keep it in one setting. I am so happy I bought this bike to continue my weight-loss and just live a healthier lifestyle. I would definitely recommend this to others.

I have orthoststic hypotension which results in loss of balance, making walking diffult. I am hoping that using the bike will help maintain circulation in my legs.

i have two of them. they are very good for a bicycle rider to train all year long ! no question!i can adjust the gears to match my own gear cogs on my road bike.feels like a 39x11-25 gear cog.ibrought my first one in 2005. and i average 225 to 250 times on it a year! if you are a bicycle rider get one . for the money they are great.

Basic bike. Ok for price. Doesn't have a course to preset and vary speeds automatically if you are interested in that feature. Seat is alittle uncomfortable on your bottom.

Bought the bike to rehab the left knee. Set up easily, would prefer a couple more holes to shorten the distance to the pedals for shorter people. Probably will drill my own holes. Really quiet, smooth. It has plenty of resistance adjustment for what I need, am at 2 now, will increase as the knee recovers. Great product, excellent for the price!

I have had back surgery & knee surgery and this bike is perfect because it does not make either my knees or back hurt when using it. It gives you a good workout in a short time and is very quite and user friendly. The only down side is it does not show the miles you are going I believe it is in kilometers.

I found the seat a little uncomfortable. So I put my back massager seat on it and I get a massage while I exercise. I am 5'7" and I had to put it on the first hole at the shortest position. Anyone shorter than my height might have a problem. For the money it is a good value. It has all the necessary time, distance, speed and calories burned.

This bike is a good bike. I do not like the look of the simple handle bars, they take away from the design of the bike. When putting the bike together, I found that the square tube that slides for adjusting the leg length was bent. This make the bike difficult to adjust the length. The bike is serving it's pur[ose, but I should have bought one with a heart monitor.

The assembly directions are a little unclear( like which pad was for the seat back and which one was the seat). But it goes together easy. It is extremely quiet, I can't hear it make a noise. Compact, doesn't take up a lot of room in my small living room. Better then my mom's that cost her almost $700. Its quieter, smaller, easy to adjust and more comfortable then my mom's.

As a heart failure patient I was looking for some type of indoor exercise option. I have a personal trainer that comes twice a week for an hour but needed to exercise the other five days, too. I wanted a simple product without all the electronic gadgets that monitor everything. Usually those are worthless. Also, the typical readout panel just gets in your way of watching TV. This unit is very well designed. Assembly was simple (except for trying to determine what piece is the seat cushion and what piece is the back...never did figure it out). The small plastic trim around my resistance-setter was broken in [...]. I called the 800 number, and they sent a replacement for the entire piece with no questions. I haven't installed the new piece yet since the unit works perfectly. I read all the reviews before purchasing this. Some problems expressed by other people just are NOT true: there's plenty of resistance; and it adjusts perfectly well for short people. I can't see any reason not to buy this bike...or any reason to spend more money on a different one.

Very smooth and comfortable. For this reason, I get a better workout on this bike than a high-end machine at the company gym- you can stay on it longer.

The only drawback is the slide adjustment can be a little difficult and they should add one more hole for shorter people (there's plenty of room for even two).

This is a good purchase for you if you want a low-impact workout. The bike is extremely quiet and comfortable to sit in. If you're not sure if you will like the recumbent bike position however, you should probably sit in one before buying it. It requires you to sit with very straight posture that supports the back-- it's not meant to be a recliner.

I am pleased with the smoothness and resistance of the bike. Note that the resistance settings are manual, so this is more for low-impact endurance building than for an intensive cardio workout. However it is still great for getting your heart rate up and the electronic display keeps track of the time, calories burned, etc.

Easy to use and quiet. I've owned it for several years and it still works great.
The seat gets old after a while and doesn't feel level with the floor. 30 minutes is about the limit.
I start out warming up at 6, then put it to 8 for the peak of my workout. 8 is the max; for a really serious stationary biker this max is not enough.

Great value for money and very easy to use. Perfect compared to the overpriced bikes out there, however the installation of the bike was more difficult than expected (the insertion of the seat into the main section did not fit the plastic coupling.) Also the tension twister was cracked upon delivery.

It was set at level2 when I received it and I have not been adventurous at experimenting with other levels as yet. So there are no problems with the bike for me at this time. I was delighted with it's solidity and it is truly a " recumbent" bicycle while the ones I had used before in gyms and at a physical rehabilitation facility were not. So I prefer it to the more expensive bikes I've used. The assembly required another person.I have given it 4 stars because I have not adjusted the level , my experience is at the 5 star level.

All around nice quiet easy smooth ride, can peddle away and hear my t.v. while I sweat away. Occasionally the peddle straps come undone as they are not really fastened on well, but for the price and quietness of it, bike is definitely worth it. assembly would have been a breeze if it wasnt for a bent piece of metal which i had to hammer back into place to, also take the manuals advise and use windex or water to slide on the foam handle covers. Doing it without was an excercise in itself.

I try to work out on the bike once a day for at least 15 minutes. I like the bike because it is a smooth ride, stable and comfortable. I do have difficulty adjusting the intensity, however. The knob doesn't want to stay put.

One phone call to Phoenix and within 2-3 days I had a replacement part.Mainly used for phys therapy after knee replacement and general conditioning.Overall a fine choice. So smooth compared to the old exercycles 20 or so years ago. they were so bad I vowed never to have another exercise bike. Glad I broke my vow with this machine. For the price a great value.

Adjusting the seat to accommodate more than one rider is too difficult. It should be one easy motion.
The LCD is useless. You can't even restart it for each workout.
The rubber for the handle bars is so difficult to "slip" on makes you want to skip it.
It seems cheaply made so I hope it lasts.

Easy to shift around to see television when I need to.

I'm 5'8" and the bike even at it's minimum length adjustment causes me to slouch in order for my feet to comfortably fit the pedals. This means I have to adjust the seat beyond the minimum, resulting in no adjustment lock of the length. Then, the bike length increases as I use it because it's not locked.
